Mindful Choices for ADHD is excited to announce the release of our Final
Report, Thriving in Transition: Reimagining ADHD Care for Young Adults,
capturing the insights and action areas that emerged from our 2026 Summer
Summit Series!
This summer, Mindful Choices brought together clinicians, researchers,
advocates, policymakers, and individuals with lived experience to take a look
at the transition from adolescence to adulthood—one of the most
consequential, yet often overlooked, periods in the ADHD care continuum.
Participants explored emerging challenges facing young adults with ADHD,
shared what they are seeing in clinical practice, policy, and their own lived
experiences.
Those conversations underscored that improving ADHD care requires greater
connection across the people and systems that shape it. Our report
thoughtfully brings these perspectives together, identifies areas of shared
concern, and translates the discussions into four key action areas:
- Strengthen care coordination and policies that support
evidence-based ADHD care - Expand access to comprehensive, individualized ADHD care
- Strengthen clinician education and adult ADHD clinical
guidance - Advance innovation in ADHD diagnosis and research
These conversations don’t end with the Summit. We hope this report serves as
a resource for the ADHD community and helps continue the dialogue about
how we can improve care, strengthen policy, and ensure individuals and
families have access to accurate, trusted information.
We invite you to read the full report and watch the recordings from both
Summit sessions on our Resources page!
